You might be surprised at how much time and money you save when you work at home. There is no transit, and you can cook for yourself. Think about it!
Become a Dropshipper - Dropshipping is not a strange term, especially when eCommerce is booming. Anyone can be a drop shipper since the work requires low investment at the beginning and also guarantees minimal risk. The system operates by purchasing the stock (goods) from a third party supplier or manufacturer, who then fulfills the customer’s request. You don’t have to shop or handle goods in advance because the product comes directly from the vendors whenever an order is placed by a customer. There are many dropshipping platforms out there, and some are basically free to use. You will need to figure out how to market the goods, which is where a blog or website comes in very handy.
Affiliate Marketing - Affiliate marketing is a popular method of making money online in South Africa and across the world. You can sell into a variety of markets with this business model, and make money almost anywhere. You can generate revenue from product sales. In other words, affiliate marketers will refer readers to a lot of products and get a small cut from them. Once a customereader buys products, you will earn a commission. A widely known approach is to start creating your own blog in a specific niche and to establish a trustworthy community that can purchase your promotions. Unlike dropshipping, you simply get a commission and have no other responsibilities. So easy! Check out SA’s leading affiliate network – https://www.affiliate.co.za/
Online Business with Etsy - Try selling DIY designs and crafts on Etsy if you’re a skilled maker. An Etsy shop is basically free to operate, and you can make real money with the platform. Once your registration is complete, you can start posting photos of your works, and people can purchase your products. There is really no limit to what can be sold on Etsy, but make sure that you are able to send your goods to other countries, as many buyers are likely to be in the EU or North America. A PayPal account is important to have and also a popular payment choice so that customers can pay you quickly. Take nice pictures of the items to help draw purchasers into a sale. Make sure that you have good customer service as well, or you won’t be selling on the platform for very long!
Forex Trading - You might have heard about trading FOREX or Contract For Difference (CFD) trading. The basics of this online money-making are simple. You will choose a currency pair, and bet on the direction of one currency vs. the other. For example, you could speculate that the EURO will appreciate vs. the RAND (or just about any currency). If you are correct, and then sell the contract, you will make profits. While this might sound easy, most people who do this lose money. In addition to currency, most retail FOREX brokers will allow you to trade in other markets, such as commodities, or shares. If you are looking for a reliable income, this probably isn’t right for you. On the other hand, if you don’t mind taking on risks, trading FOREX can be extremely profitable.
Beating the UK brokerage via true arbitrage - £8k -> £98k ($128k) since 21st April
Alright you American autists, here's a gains post from the UK across the pond - listen up because it's pretty incredible, managed to screw over our broker to turn ~£8k into £98k / $128k USD by reading the small print, true u/fuzzyblankeet style. https://preview.redd.it/9mlup18v0q951.png?width=343&format=png&auto=webp&s=aea1393d304d16063d62d54d30cc5be9b23d937a Unfortunately, we don't have options trading, commission free robinhood which crashes, or any other US based degeneracy, but instead we British chaps can trade "CFDs" ie. 'contracts-for-difference', which are essentially naked long / short positions with a 10-20% margin (5-10x leveraged), a 'holding cost' and you could theoretically lose more than your initial margin - sounds like true wallstreetbets autism, right? Well grab a lite beer (or whatever you lite alcoholic chaps drink over there) and strap in for this stuff: So, CMC Markets, a UK based CFD brokerage, wanted to create a West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil 'Spot' product, despite WTI contracts trading in specific monthly expirations which can thus have severe contango effects (as all of you $USO call holders who got screwed know) - this was just a product called "Crude Oil West Texas - Cash", and was pegged to the nearest front-month, but had no expiry date, only a specific holding cost -> already a degenerate idea from their part. So in early April, just before when the WTI May-20 expiry contract 'rolled' at **negative** $-37, the "WTI Cash" was trading at $15 at the time, but the *next* month June-20 expiry was still $30+ we (I am co-running an account with an ex-Goldman colleague of mine) simultaneously entered into a long position on the "WTI - Cash" product, and went short on the "WTI Jun-20 expiry", a pure convergence play. Sure enough, the June-20 tanked the following week, and we made over £35k, realised profits. But meanwhile the May-20 also tanked, and we were down £28k. But rather than realise this loss, we figured we could just hold it until Oil prices recover, and profit on both legs of the trade. However, CMC Markets suddenly realised they are going to lose a lot of money with negative oil prices (Interactive Brokers lost $104m, also retards), so they screwed everyone holding the "WTI - Cash" product trading at $8 at the time, and pegged it to the December 2020 expiry trading at $30, with a 'discount factor' to catch up between the two. https://preview.redd.it/zjjzyahx0q951.png?width=517&format=png&auto=webp&s=9523bab878f06702133631f12c1109081f299f65 Now fellow autists, read the above email and try to figure out what the pure arbitrage is. CMC markets will charge us a 0.61% **per day** holding cost (calculated as the 10x levered value of whatever original margin you put up, so in our case £8k*10x=£80k*0.61% = £500 per day, £1.5k on weekends for extra fun) on our open positions, but also "increase" the position value by 0.61% per day vs. the **previous day's** WTI - Cash value. Got it yet? No? Still retarded? Here's where maths really helps you make tendies:-> If your 'cost' is fixed at 0.61% of your original levered position, but your 'gains' are 0.61% of the previous day's position, then your gains will be ever increasing, whereas your costs are fixed. So we added some extra £££ (as much as we could justifiably put into a degenerate 10x levered CFD account) and tried to see if it works. Long story short, it does. At this point in July we were making **over £1k per day on a £8k initial position*\* regardless where the WTI Dec-20 fwd moved. Unfortunately, eventually CMC markets realised what utter retards they were, and closed down the arbitrage loophole, applying the holding costs to the previous day's value. But not before we turned £8k into £98k, less holding costs. https://preview.redd.it/uh0f8knz0q951.png?width=553&format=png&auto=webp&s=c7e629f72de5aeb4e837ccef44ecae708f058bee Long story short, puts on $CMCX they're total retards, and given what a startup robinhood / other brokerages are, never assume that only they are the ones taking your tendies away, sometimes you can turn the tables on them!

Hi there, some time ago i was active on fx trading market (mainly in EUUSD). Time did took its toll and somehow i lost interest in trading online or trading CFD at all. After some time, again, i am thinkin about putting some time into forex market. Thing and the main question to this topic is, i really dont know how to really get into it again. Did you guys experience this ? How did you cope with it ? How did you go back to the "track" with it. This may be a dumb question but I thought maybe it will serve not only to my problem. Thank you very much.
IMPORTANT: OVER 75% OF PEOPLE LOSE MONEY WITH CFD TRADING. IF YOU'RE A NOOB, DON'T EVEN THINK OF OPENING A CFD ACCOUNT. TRY MAKING CONSISTENT MONEY SWING TRADING ASX STONKS FIRST. THEN KEEP DOING THAT UNTIL YOU GET BORED AND WANT TO LOSE BIG MONEY VERY QUICKLY. ONLY THEN YOU MAY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO TRADE WITH LEVERAGE. You most likely don't have my discipline and pain tolerance. Or my feel for risk/reward math. On top of this you need markets to play nice and a bit of luck. I'm no wiz, but I know my strengths and weaknesses. I smell a good setup and prepare accordingly. Hope you all nail your big opportunity when it shows up. If not, that's okay too. You'll keep getting chances. Be patient. Focus on small wins. Plus there's far more important things in life than being loaded. ------ How I lost 5k trading CFDs then turned it around Back in April, I was playing with CFDs and nearly blew up my account. Started with $5k and dropped to almost zero because trading forex with leverage is a very stupid game. This is why IG gives you a demo account. But instead of using the demo account to learn how not to fuck up massively, I was using it to place giant YOLO shorts on US markets. By being a bit less retarded on the forex trades I clawed back some losses then topped up the account with another $2.5k before starting to open small positions in gold. From 3 to 10 contracts depending on how confident I felt. Then smelling a massive opportunity, I ramped up the leverage by going with much larger positions. Day 5 https://preview.redd.it/oqd955abwak51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=84aa309284c22117630899e39b8b1bfb89c670f3 Entering the silver trade It was only after making decent profits in gold that I dared venture into silver. I wanted to enter silver around $18 but missed the boat after waiting too long for a dip. $20 was still great. Tons of upside left. Silver is one nasty motherfucker to trade. It's a much smaller market than gold so the swings can be wild. Silver will play along nicely then suddenly fuck you really hard. If you use too much leverage you're basically waiting for your account to blow up. Stop losses will save you, but they can also kill your best trades. I didn't bother with stops for most of the ride because I'm an ASX_bets retard but also because I had ultra high conviction in the $25-27 price target. Started with 25 contracts. I very nearly missed out on this mini pump. Some might call it luck. Day 18 https://preview.redd.it/de8jozlexak51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=79d174c67a86754c7d9fd78aa594f88282c08834 Adding to my silver positions Increased my position size once I had a profit buffer to protect against sharp drops. It's WAY easier to blow up a CFD account than it appears. When trades are going well you feel like you can keep adding leverage and make millions. But even small swings will kill you if your positions are too big. Discipline is key. Buying 50 contracts in silver is not the same as 50 contracts in gold because silver moves are 2-4 times bigger. When gold moves 100 points, expect a 200-400 points move in silver. Having an equal mix of gold an silver contracts helped lower the overall volatility of my account. Anything over 10 contracts in silver is big. You can lose hundreds within minutes. Buy 50 contracts, the price drops $1 and you're $5000 in the hole. I knew when to push and when to hold back. This was EXTREMELY important. I did not get greedy. I was happy to let price moves do most of the lifting. Started the day with 3k profits. Went to bed that night with big beautiful bhags. 17k https://preview.redd.it/qcbeoxvnxak51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=4228593b9d86cc5f0460f44af06c7292ea644625 Day 19 Woke up the next morning with even bigger bhags. 30k https://preview.redd.it/9b439y5qxak51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=19e3ad27d7237bc88fdeb329ebcd113e11349554 Day 24 More pump. I added 50 silver contracts that day after a decent drop. Profits now up to around 41k. Held through the big swings... Like a proper bitch, Silver dropped another 5% soon after I added those 50 contracts and my 41k profit became 20k very suddenly. But no stop loss and I held firmly. What's a 21k drop when you've been down 35k on BBOZ before. Metals bounced back hard later that evening. Still not selling. High conviction made all the difference here. Five days later and I was up to 50k profit. At that point, I felt safe enough to add another 50 contracts. https://preview.redd.it/j2at0n95zck51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=4a0ea2fabe6a245807fb9ee8a8d0bc4ce854ba3a And it paid off BIG Both gold and silver keep pumping. Profit now 86k. Day 28 https://preview.redd.it/f3pz0an8zck51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=0ca765b6cad423786dee33a1366c70d324e39b8d Why sell now? Not selling yet. GV's silver target was $25-27 so I was confident holding through some wild swings. GV = Gold Ventures https://twitter.com/thelastdegree A turbo chad from Belgium who made a massive fortune trading options during 2008-2011 when silver went from $9 to $50 before crashing hard. GV is a certified wizard when it comes to timing the gold and silver cycles. Started with his wife's 32k savings and is now worth 18 million EUR or USD, I'm not sure and who cares. GV is pretty low key but commands plenty of respect from other metal traders on Twitter. Meanwhile GV was on holiday but still shitting money. https://preview.redd.it/ixsxwjx30dk51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=9fd5741634a7a5b0f913f5ea12edf05722f9fddf GV also has a junior miner portfolio worth several millions. I believe it's true. I went deep into his Twitter history. He was buying heavily into the March crash and some of his picks like AbraPlata have since made 10x. Junior miners are like call options on metal prices with no expiry date but you still need to pick winners and enteexit at the right time. Magical Six Figure Milestone Not long after... BOOM! Hit 100k in profit. When starting, I knew there was potentially 40k-50k to be made from this setup even without playing it perfectly. I would have been okay with 20k. Day 32 https://preview.redd.it/oy8sqsgz1dk51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=a8c628670578b81d72b9a41bd9d2307a27a2fbf7 Start taking profits Silver was still going strong but I felt it was time to de-risk. So I started taking profits on both gold and silver around that time. https://preview.redd.it/gvdqs67a2dk51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=64a77d3ccca86fe6e29eb43e0c2eaf096f68867c Okay I'm out The way silver kept pumping, I knew a big correction was imminent. By 12pm I was completely out with over 110k profit. Home and dry. I went on with my daily work routine, a bit more relaxed and not checking charts every 5 minutes. And then metals dumped hard. There was money to be made on the short side but there was also a strong possibility of shorts being squeezed. So I didn't bother. https://preview.redd.it/opoio79i2dk51.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=80187384d37e03eec8d01814248bbe4c5a48cc4f After the dump, I had no appetite to get back in with big positions. In hindsight I could have made tons more if I held to $29 but the ride from $24 to $29 is far more risky than $20 to $26. I'm quite okay with my 40x performance. Plus I needed to reset mentally after this rocket ride. More often than not, the best thing to do after a huge trading win is to take a break. Wisdom gained from the BBOZ days :) Withdrew my initial capital and 90% of the profits from IG. Left around 6k on the account to keep playing. https://preview.redd.it/1djdhz1m2dk51.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c028a06d4e0cf73bfb80f8ac48dd18e333b791d4 Feels good to have extra funds to invest with but I also need to set some aside for the monster tax bill next year. You're welcome Australia, and all the JobSeekeJobKeeper leeches. Hey everyone, check out my insane stats! That 85% win rate though...
What are the best Forex trading platforms/brokers?
Forex brokers are firms that provide currency traders with access to a trading platform that allows you to buy and sell foreign currencies. Retail forex brokers, handle a very small portion of the volume of the overall foreign exchange market. Some of the best forex brokers: Saxo Bank This is considered one of the best forex brokers overall. It is the best overall because it has great competitive pricing to get involved, and has access to a wide range of markets. In addition it is very secure with multiple regulatory licenses. It also offers all forex traders with innovative trading platforms that really create more options for traders making them more successful. Btw, I am trying to build a team with people who are interesting in learning how to trade. A contract for difference (CFD) is a popular form of trading that helps traders to speculate on the rising or falling prices of fast-moving global financial markets. This means that traders who like this trading style look for a wide range of tradable products in their platform which you can find globally on IG. IG is also very trusted around the world which is good for traders because they need to be able to trust their forex broker. They also provide Comprehensive research tools and real-time exchange data. In addition, they have a broad range of markets, including multi asset CFDs like cryptocurrencies. TD AmeriTrade This forex broker is only for US residents but it is great for Americans if you need a forex broker. If you are an American I would suggest this one because it is ranked number one for customer service and is very well trusted. I highly recommend taking a look at these three forex brokers because they are some of the most regulated and also have good tools.
Hello BEFire people, Looking how I now have a bit of time on my hands and some money I don't mind loosing on the short term, I would like to start dabbling into Forex trading. Lost of great resources exist for you to start with a demo account and learn how this type of market work but the question isn't here. As any investor know most of the money you make can be lost through the complex process of Belgian taxation. Which is why I am addressing you in the first place. After a bit of research, i found really conflicting legislation on the subject. On one side, the FSMA has banned the trading of CFD (contract for differences) and Forex instruments by Belgian brokers. (https://www.fsma.be/en/faq/fsma-regulation-governing-distribution-certain-derivative-financial-instruments-binary-options-0) Leaving little room for private investors to do anything. On the other, I didn't read anything about passing through an offshore broker. Diving deeper in the taxes aspect of it, I suspect this would be taxed as a "professional salary" due to the repetitive nature of the operation and would there account for for a complementary salary more than anything else. If it is the case, this would mean it would follow the following table: from 0 to 8 350 euros ..............................................25 % from 8 350 to 11 890 euros ....................................30 % from 11 890 to 19 810 euros ..................................40 % from 19 810 to 36 300 euros ..................................45 % over 36 300 euros ..........................................50 % Mind that these numbers date from 2015 and might not be up to date anymore. This would means that if you want to double your capital by trading Forex you would nearly have to triple it before taxes. Has anyone here ever dealt with Forex trading and could confirm my understanding on (1)the possibility to trade Forex through offshore broker and (2)the way Belgian taxes are computed for this type of trading is correct ?
Google is ready to ban binary option and cryptocurrency ads
Well, it’s about time, Google is next in line to pose a stiff challenge to the largely fraudulent online trading industry. The world’s largest search engine has just announced that it plans to ban all cryptocurrencies and binary options advertisements, and it is cracking down on ads for various other speculative financial products.
Say goodbye to binary options & cryptocurrency ads
The new rules, which are scheduled to take effect in June, will flat out ban adverts for binary options, cryptocurrencies and all related content (including initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice. Cryptocurrencies have surged in popularity over the last year thanks to a boom in the price of bitcoin towards the end of fiscal 2017. This coincided with a surge in initial coin offerings (ICOs), where numerous startups have issued their own cryptocurrency in exchange for money to construct their businesses.
Taking Facebook’s lead
Google’s hard-line approach follows a similar ban that Facebook enacted earlier in the year in banning cryptocurrency related advertising on its platform. Scott Spencer, Google’s Director of Sustainable Ads said in a recent blog post that the clampdown is part of Google’s efforts to shield consumers from online trading scams. However, much of the online trading world is unregulated, which in turn has attracted scammers looking to make quick money. Last year myriads of “pump and dump” filled the market, while this year bogus ICO projects have become routine.
Forex & CFD Crackdown
Google is additionally coming down on ads for contracts for difference (CFD), spread betting, and foreign exchange (forex) instruments on its platform. These products carry a high level of risk and the entire industry is under increasing regulatory scrutiny across Europe over the past year thanks to severe investment fraud sweeping through the continent. The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning in November that cryptocurrency CFDs are incredibly high-risk, speculative products that risk the investor suffering significant losses. Research conducted by the FCA showed 82% of people who use the products lose money, implying CFDs are more similar to gambling than investing.
Affiliate marketing for online trading takes a hit
Google additionally announced it is banning ads from affiliates and aggregators who traffic leads to online trading brokers. These websites earn a commission for referring new clients to these products that are lightly regulated. The search giant will require CFD, spread bet, and forex websites to register with it if they want to advertise on its platform and all brokers must be licensed in the country they are looking to advertise in.
Pressure getting to Google
Google’s financial marketing crackdown arises among continued pressure on the search giant, which additionally owns YouTube, regarding the way it runs its advertising procedure. Google has been heavily criticized by the media and politicians for permitting everything from radicalization to binary options trading on its advertising platform due to careless controlling of content and advertising. Spencer did state in his blog post that Google removed 3.2 billion “bad” ads last year and announced, “Improving the ads experience across the web, whether that’s removing harmful ads or intrusive ads, will continue to be a top priority for us.” We shall see. However, there is a pretty good chance that these fraudulent brokers will just simply change the name of their product in order to get around Google’s ban and deceive an unsuspecting user.

The rough guide to the Islamic Investment world (in South Africa)
So this is my rough guide to Islamic investments within the South African Universe (it can apply globally, except my examples is all South African based). Hope it is informative and encourages halal investing. Suggestions welcome
Section 1: Investment Universe
Islamic Bank fixed deposits
About: Invest your money for a fixed period (1 month up to 5 years). Get profit when period is completed Pros: Reliable profit , Low financial risk, low Islamic risk : covered by a board of Shariah scholars Cons: Low profit rates.
FNB Islamic Fixed deposit.
Absa Islamic Fixed deposit
Standard Bank Islamic Fixed deposit
About: Collective investment - managed by investment company, protected by SA law, typically invests in equities, sukuks and property Pros: Plenty of choice, Provided by registered Financial Service Providers, Sharia Boards , diversification Cons: Typically High fees, .
Old Mutual Albarakah equity fund
Oasis Cresent Equity Fund
Kagiso Islamic Equity Fund
Many options: only a few examples listed.
About: Collective investment Pros: low fees, Provided by registered Financial Service Providers, Sharia Boards , diversification Cons: only one option in SA, heavily weighted on Resources
NewFunds Sharia top 40 ETF
About: Pick your own stocks off the exchange Pros: High profit potential, Cons: Very Risky, No Islamic oversight (hence need to do your own screening)
Platform: Easy Equities (low fees platform available in SA. NO Leverage/Margin, Remember to buy/sell whole shares only).
Lazy guide to choosing "Sharia stocks" : Get the constituents of islamic unit trusts, invest in those.
NB: Remember to do dividends purification
About: Tried and test property Pros: Stable Asset, Tangible, Straightforward, Zakah benefits, Cons: High capital outlay, expensive legal costs (transfebond registration) , Not very liquid,
Banks for islamic loans:
FNB (Islamic bond)
paid on rental income , not on property value (if intention is to invest)
paid on property value: if intention is to sell property in near term (refurbish/fix and sell, etc).
Interest is Haram. No two ways about it. Luckily we have two banks that can provide Islamic loans (or at least as close as possible)
Custom Wealth Solutions
About: Customized Wealth management and investments Pros: Professional advice, custom solution Cons: Available exclusively to high net worth individuals, Investment advise appears to be fee based
Side note - I do not have any experience/knowledge. Would be great to hear if anyone has any experience here.
Banks such as FNB provide Islamic Private banking, with financial advisors (but they tend to push unit trusts, endowment policies, etc).
Section 2: Definitely not halal
Margin based investing: Margin = interest = haram. Also very risky
Futures contracts: Shorting, going long, all CFD's and futures contracts are impermissible. Because a condition for a halal investment is that the underlying asset must be owned
Forex: Or at least forex based on CFD's and margins. Buying dollars to travel should be perfectly fine.
Stocks/Equities that primarily deal in haram activities: Gambling, pork, etc
Section 3: Grey Areas
Crypto ( Bitcoin ,etc) : In theory these should be more "halal" than fiat currency (what all money in the world is) however there are differences of opinion.
Shares : There are grey areas : Most companies has an element of haram income (interest, etc). Scholars have devised ratios to to filter out "islamic stocks" from haram stocks (30-33% max debt, max 5% haram income, liquid ratios, etc). It is for this reason these stocks requires dividend purification.
However you should be aware of this before venturing into to stocks as you might not be comfortable with that thought (This also affects EFTs, Unit trusts, etc). 3 Easy Equities: Easy equities makes it cheap and easy to own equities. However I would at all times buy/sell only whole shares and not fractional shares. Fractional shares are done as a CFD (a bit different from a forex CFD). You get all the benefits of ownership such as dividends and capital gains on a pro rate basis. But you do not actually own the CFD until you buy enough CFD to get a real whole share. That being said, it is still grey, best to avoid fractional shares entirely 4. Halal Forex Accounts: Somehow these are marketed that way. Here's a link to (Islamic Finance Guru) who has a bit more knowledge on this. (Note: I am not affiliated in any way or get any benefit)
Section 4: Conclusion
I sincerely hope this helps , and encourages to invest in the Islamic world. Any ideas, inputs and suggestions welcome. Disclaimer 1 : Corrections welcome, I am not a learned scholar, this is not financial advice, you bear the responsibility & consequences of your own decisions/investments Disclaimer 2 : At some point FNB Sharia board quit , they subsequently hired a new board. They don't however make it easy to find who is in the board from their website. However the information can be found in news websites.
Low was made around 3350, but not impressive enough. Selling SPX 3415
SPX bounce late last week was not as strong into the close as I'd expected. It sold off to close under the support level and this was a bit of a tell-tale of possible weakness. https://preview.redd.it/hc3dlk70npl51.png?width=1353&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7ecbd969ad10cb7ad22bb460b3bb88265dd6d4b Going into this week's opening trading SPX has also struggled on this level (3420) and while under it I am more inclined to sell. The corrolation is not 1:1, but there's also a lot of signs in the FX market of a stronger Yen with rallies against it faltering into the important levels. I am keeping al my stops tight Follow updates here. https://whatthefxforum.com/swingsindex/sp500-spx/#post-67 I noiced today when trying to re-balance profits from last week that the tracking accout I set up is not updating. Will have a look and see ewhat's wrong with it hen I have more time For now I just allocated most of the funds in it to two different strats. One for purely SPX trades and one for Forex (And CFDs). SPX- https://www.fxblue.com/users/deanblack-spx Forex - https://www.fxblue.com/users/deanblack-forex I left a little bit in the first account so it's still running. Hopefully should be able to work out why its not tracking and fix it. These accounts are not set t update every trade (That might have been the probem), but they will update periodically. Multiple times a day. I'll hopefully have some more spare time in the next few days to do more detailed (Perhaps more regular) updates. This is pening a few things. Will keep posting updates on the levels I think most important.
CFD Trading Platform: A Decentralized Financial Exchange for you
I assume wherever we live, anybody wants to acquire the best service provider. Especially whilst these identical services are related to Finance or different essential regions. However, the Blockchain generation is growing rapidly nowadays. This has brought about the emergence of basically new projects, platforms, bringing ease to the life of which was difficult to assume even 10 years in the past. The DeFi enterprise is growing. But with each breakthrough comes greater stress on the Ethereum network. Transaction costs have become increasingly more unsustainable, and with every new DeFi application, there are new security risks, auditing necessities, or even higher boundaries to entry for brand new builders. https://preview.redd.it/ng02i0xdotk51.png?width=1179&format=png&auto=webp&s=aa0a7076b4ce54931273ce599f7ea185b79b768d In other to avoid the unnecessary stress and burdens, CFD Trading Platform is what we truly need. What is Contracts for Difference (CFD)? CFD is a by-product agreement that occurs between a trader and a brokerage organization. CFD holders have the privilege of receiving the distinction among the asset’s present day charge and their predicted rate. If the expected fee is incorrect, the dealer will have to cover the losses. Contracts for Difference (CFD) provide buyers and financial specialists around the world the opportunity to gain from value improvement without owning a fundamental asset. This is a fairly primary safety that is determined by means of the motion of an asset between trade entries and withdrawals. https://preview.redd.it/0om3qfveotk51.png?width=1181&format=png&auto=webp&s=bf41ec71879a4ca579526192e9228c4f9492fcba Benefits of CFD Trading
CFD buying and selling today gives appealing venues that have increased the provision of an splendid tool within the ultimate decade. CFDs additionally offer higher leverage than conventional trading. Standard leverage in CFD advertising and marketing is challenge to law.
CFD speaks of an extra cost-effective, smarter technique to bring into the marketplace and allowing buyers to shop for at a miles discounted fee while permitting even higher returns.
CFD holders have the privilege of receiving the difference between the asset’s current rate and their anticipated price. If the predicted charge is incorrect, the trader will cover the losses.
CFDs may be associated with currencies as well as shares, stocks, commodities and crypto currencies. As with the Forex market, leverage may be used to invest beyond your earnings and hypothetically get better payouts for decrease investments.
Again within 24 hours of trying to work out a way to make this sustainable and workable for everyone I've noticed it's not worth the hassle to do so. It seems a lot of you expect everything for nothing. I'm afraid that is not going to work for me. Nothing I am doing is free for me, and if people do not want to pitch in the tiniest bit to help with that I can only conclude one of two things; 1 - The info is not worth $50 to you. In which case it is not worth my time writing it. 2 - People are ungrateful. In which case it is not worth my time writing it. If people were willing to meet me half way, I'd have went a lot further. People seem to want to stand where they are and shout over to me I'm a scammer for not bringing it all to their feet. That's a perspective. You can have it. I do not mind. But if this is your talk, I'll trade in silence. I'll also show you what happens with the "Scammy" info I was going to provide you for $50. In the week ahead I'll set up an account with a similar amount to the amount of money people seem to think it's egregious to ask for, and I'll run the same trades on this as will be in the trading plans shared in the proposed offer. I'll use recognised results tracking programs that will automatically verify and display the results. Build up phase: I'll start with currency trades. These are the lowest barrier to entry since I can trade micro lots and also have access to leverage. Currency trades should give me about 400 'pips' margin of error. Realistically, I should not need more than 40. I think SPX will be up 2 - 4% next week, this should give gains to on the Aussie against the Swiss (AUDCHF) - I'll go long AUDCHF. Margin up phase: After the currency trades I should have enough to trade SPX. I'll start to position short on SPX around 3080 and I'll take a first target of 2377. Given the right setups I'll add to my SPX short as prices are falling to bulk up the net take profit on the trade if it works. I'll trail my stops on the first trades to mke sure I'm not increasing my risk . Big up phase: By this time I should have enough margin to trade the Dow. Here I can make some real money. Around 21,000 I'll start to short the Dow and I'll be targeting 10,000. This trade should pay me somewhere in the region of $50,000 per traded lot. During the move I should be able to build up a position of at least 4 - 5 lots on the margin I have. Should be over $200,000 if it hits. Cash flow up phase: Once the drop has happened, I will begin to go long and do it in ways that will generate me daily income. I'll do this by transferring about $100K into options account and selling puts for 100 SPY. I'll also switch back to currency trades and I'll engage in what are known as "Carry trades", these will pay me every day I hold the trade based upon the "Swap". The best carry trades will depend upon what respective interest rates are at the time. Assuming things are similar (relatively) to how they currently are, I will be buying the Aussie, Kiwi and Turkish currencies and I'll be selling them against the dollar and Yen. This will be long AUDUSD, NZDUSD, AUDJPY, NZDJPY and short USDTRY. I'll allocate $50,000 to carry trades. I'll use the remaining money to hedge and offset risks/losses on my cash flow trades if that is needed, and if not I will use it to make similar trades but ones based upon a short time frame and geared towards risk:reward based profit rather than passive cash flow. I'll keep doing this until the Dow is back to around 17,000 - 18,000. Crash cash phase: For the next phase of the drop I will again switch to trading the Dow. This is where I can make most money. I might also allocate $100 - 200K to OTM puts, but since this can be a slower more steady crash it will make more sense to build a position in the CFD market on the Dow. Again my Dow trade should pay over $50,000 per lot. This time building up over 20 lots should be fairly easy. Cash flow decade phase: Once the market has crashed I will start to become a big options seller. i'll also engage in carry trades if interest rates are not all screwed up (Which is there are 'currency wars' they could be). Being able to be on the right side of a carry trade will determine if this is viable or not - and that has some variables that can not be known at this time. I'd love to be able to just short USDTRY, though. If it's viable. With options, I will be selling both put options and call options. I think once the crash has happened we will enter into a long term theta market last 10 - 15 years - this period is known as a 'Lost decade)'. I'll sell SPY puts for under the lows and I'll also sell SPY calls each time there is jumps in upside volatility. I'll be happy to sell SPY calls for 200 for literally years on end. By this time I should have more than $50. I'll update my swing plans either bi-weekly, weekly or monthly. Pending on how much free time I have. I'll edit this post to add in the results tracking material when I set it up. Update: Here's the tracking link. http://www.myfxbook.com/members/2020sBeasomething-for-nothing/6040046 I set the copy software to invert trades & the first trades went short AUDCHF rather than long. That puts me on quite a substantial losing start, but it should not matter. Might push the start of SPX trades back a week. Probably won't. Let me just show the value of what I've been trying to teach you.
With Bitcoin Suddenly Surging, Canaan Stock Is Also Going Up Today
I could go with all the boring metrics but I’m not bothered i fancy this share medium term I will explain why, then you can check it out for yourself. I’m sure being on this thread you are aware of ig ? Igindex?. Ig offers trading platforms for CFDs and spread betting aswell as traditional brokerage services and boasts over 12,000 instruments. It thrives when there is volatility, which I’m sure we can agree has been massive and should continue, last year it paid out its entire profits as a dividend, that yield right now is about <5% They released an RNS 04/06 stating they expected revenue from trading around 40% higher yoy! Since then the stock went from 788p to a high of 862p and settled there about a 830p.. Since June the 4th volatility has exploded and continued traditionally if does well on this and fades to obscurity in normal times... You have all seen for yourself the amount of stupid bets on wsb, huge amount of new entrants to the markets and ig is rated shares magazines choice award. I’ve even seen forex trading advertised by girls on Instagram ! Also The leverage amounts mixed with new traders will mean crushed positions and lots of trades entered so I think that will drive revenue.. Anyway you can look at the boring stuff I know this isn’t how dd is meant to be done, currently has, earnings 43.1 per share on revenue of 477m 20 pe... Forecast revenue of 650m... Say conservatively we get get 50p a share earnings and a dividend the same, that’s brilliant... But covid isn’t going away the new market participants will stay, to some extent and volatility will stay with us! So the stock should go higher.. anyway I realise this is long fan post/ but I thought I’d just get your thoughts
If you have been involved in online trading for some time, chances are you have used the MT5 software. Even if you are new to online trading, I am sure you have heard about MT5 from more experienced traders in your network. But the platform isn’t just popular for no reason. Both traders and brokers find it useful because:
It has impressive functionalities that you can’t get on any other platform
It is openly available to all brokers and traders.
However, that is not all there is to MT5. So this post will be looking at some exciting things about MetaTrader 5, including:
The types of account it offers
Basic terms every professional trader should know
Before we delve into highlighting the features, let’s look at what MetaTrader 5 really is. So what is MT5? MetaTrader is a multi-asset platform that offers traders the tools to trade forex, stocks, and futures. The first version of the software, MT4, was created in 2005 by MetaQuotes Software Corporation. The second version, MT5, was released in 2010 to offer more functionalities and better trading experience to users and brokers. With the history out of the way, let’s look at the features that make MT5 the software of choice for most brokers and traders. 5 features of MT5 that make it the market leader
Multi-asset trading platform
Automated trades to test trading strategies
Automated bots by experts
Hedging and netting allowed
21 time-frames — from minutes to years
The 3 types of MT5 accounts available on Deriv.com One of the things that have made MT5 very popular is its open-source nature. This has allowed different brokers to integrate it into their respective trading platform. But at Deriv.com, we didn’t just integrate MT5 into our platform. We blended the powerful functionalities of the MT5 with our experience as pioneers in the online trading industry and we call it — DMT5 an all-in-one forex and CFD trading platform. When you trade with DMT5, you have the option to choose from three different account types, each designed to appeal to traders with varying styles of trading and experience. The three account types are explained in the images below. Types of DMT5 account DMT5 Accounts It is worthy to note that synthetic indices are only available to Deriv.com traders and can be traded even on weekends. Another point to note is that while Deriv.com created the synthetic indices algorithm, the market mimics the real-world financial market. Lastly, let’s look at some of the terms that you should know if you want to succeed in online trading. Basic terms every professional trader should know 1. Leverage Leverage gives you the ability to trade a larger position using your existing capital. 2. Order execution There are two types of order execution: instant execution and market execution. Instant execution places your order at the price available at that time. Requotes are possible only if the price fluctuates by a lot before the execution of the order is completed. Market execution allows you to place an order at the broker’s price. The price is agreed upon in advance, there are no requotes. 3. Spread A ‘spread’ is the difference between the buy and sell prices. A fixed spread is subject to changes at the company’s absolute discretion, whereas a variable spread means that the spread is constantly changing. A fixed spread is not affected by market conditions, a variable spread depends on market conditions. 4. Commission Brokers usually charge a commission for each trade that is placed. Deriv.com, however, charges no commission across all account types, except cryptocurrencies. 5. Margin call Your account is placed under margin call when the funds in your account are unable to cover the leverage or margin requirement. To prevent a margin call from escalating to a stop out level, close any open positions, or deposit additional funds into your account. 6. Stop out level Your account will reach the stop out level where it will be unable to sustain any open positions if it has been under margin call for an extended period of time. This will lead to all pending orders being canceled and open positions being closed forcibly (also known as “forced liquidation”). 7. Cryptocurrency trading Indicates the availability of cryptocurrency trading on a particular account. These are the basic things you should know about MT5. If you are new to online trading, we highly recommend you read the following posts: https://medium.com/@derivdotcom/things-you-need-to-know-about-mt5-961b2665a4fb
Making the jump: how to leave day job and concentrate on trading instead
Hi everyone... I've been thinking about this topic for a while now but never really addressed it with some serious thought. Currently I'm employed full time by a consulting firm and it's a nice job indeed (well payed, nice benefits, great colleagues, soon-to-become junior partner). Nevertheless I still feel it doesn't tick all the boxes for me:
I don't like having to work by someone else's schedule: I want to have the flexibility to take time off whenever I feel like it
very demanding job in terms of energy and time, many times feels like a limitation over my freedom
I don't like to have a constraint on where I should work from: I want to be able to work from wherever location around the globe
I feel like my income can't really grow beyond a certain threshold (glass ceiling) and that threshold is set by someone else (my employer): I want my income to be linked to my skills only, not for it to be a function of "time * hourly wage"
That said, I'm starting to think a regular job will never fit with these requirements and I'm looking at alternatives: this is where trading comes in. I've been interested in trading for a few years now and my current situation on the topic is the following:
played around with some Forex trading (manual strategies/EAs found on the internet/EAs developed by me)
played around with some CFD trading (manual strategies)
studied Technical Analysis
tried to wrap my head around Fundamental Analysis (with not enough time to really invest on it yet)
lost all the money invested so far (not much, of course): reasons range from inexperience to lack of strategy but the main reason being lack of time to study/prepare/analyze/test/etc. (because of my main job)
On one end I feel if only I could have enough time to focus and concentrate on this I think I might be successful, on the other end not I'm well aware I could easily lose all my money and the uncertainty of the income scares me. As of now, I'm defining something that resambles a plan to jump ship and it looks like the following:
Define starting capital i need before quitting my job (probably around 20k€ for the markets + 5k€ as rainy days fund)
Define how much I need to make each month to survive and keep on trading (somewhere between 1.5k€/2k€ at least)
Define "point of no return" (how much of said capital I'm ok to burn before reverting back to searching for a regular job)
Define exit plan from current job
So, in order to converge to a conclusion, I need advice from people that may have found themeselves in my same spot. How did you make the jump? How did you cope with fear and uncertainty? How did you prepare to switch? Is there something major I'm missing? Thanks for all your feedbacks!
I just feel like I finally need to share my story (only person who knows so far is my sister, I absolutely needed to tell someone). So I've never understood the appeal of gambling. I never played slots, never ran poker for money or anything. My first sports bet was a Floyd Mayweather fight. Knowing what I know about boxing, getting a 20% return on my investment for May fighting McGregor was an absolute no-brainer. What I didn't know, though, is that I signed up for an extra promo and the cash out would not work. So this quickly spiraled into parlays and obscure tennis and football matches all over the world to be able to cash out what I put in. I lost 200 bucks, but the insight into people analyzing these things all day was somewhat fun. Shit result, but nothing that really hurt retrospectively. Wrote that off and never ever looked back at sports betting. Enter summer 2019. I get interested in the stock market. I read a lot, I actually do research on financial statements and decide to invest in actual stocks. It works. Commissions take the fun out, make gains miniscule, but it works. Enter finding out about Forex and CFDs. Leveraged. Again I start slowly, news tickers, books, lots of observation. Technical analysis is like old people horoscopes, but if I see movements that overshoot, I find out what causes them and decide if reversing them might make sense. I start with 200€ again. And it works. Beginners luck and the fact the stakes weren't high, but after a couple of weeks im up by 500€. 150% gain, Over 50 positive trades in succession. Not a single loss. The perfectionism will become my downfall as you might imagine. October '19. The FED is injecting repos into a market that keeps having these mini-recessions. The liquidity brings the spikes they hoped for, but the underlying problems won't just dissapear. So slowly, I am shorting the market. It keeps running up - I become aware that these trades will be longer term. I can hold the positions for a year. I know it will blow, I just wasn't sure when. On the ride up, I keep shorting. I'm slow to realize how the margin shrinks. I need to deposit more money. I can spare another 500. And another 250. And another 500. They say the market can be irrational longer than you can be solvent. November I lose my job. By January the P/L hits -4500€. I'm confident that this can't hold but I am running out of money. I'm ashamed to ask for financial help and I would never risk losing anyone else's money. So the credit card has to to. My card, my debt. WWIII almost kicks off the year and it finally dips. A single night later I witness the strength of the irrationality. My mental time frame is now to hold until middle of march. But the margin kills me, I am running out of money. I can't hold my positions. So one after another I start closing, panicking, how will I make this back?? This is it: I'll raise the stakes and just make this back. After all, these were my very first losing trades, even though they were huge. This is where I start to realize I am now gambling. I'm blindly taking positions to make money as fast as possible. Instead of making it back, I keep losing more. 3000 gone. another 1500. 1500 in a day. 700. 1150. Today I'm down 8000€. On a historic day. The one I was actually anticipating since October. The "coulda woulda shouldas" are incredible in this one. Not only would I still have 8000€, but I would've raked some extreme profits if I was able to hold. Instead, being unemployed gave me all the time in the world to watch charts and treat this liek a game I could gamble on. Unneccessary trade over unnecessary trade, ever shorter time frames, chasing every loss. The chasing and the frequency made me realize I have an addiction. The fact I deleted the app and still kept checking charts, just to hop back in and lose again. I started listening to the after gambling podcast and all the themes were so familiar, even when I wasn't betting, playing slots or cards or roulette. The mechanisms that ruined me were exactly the same. I just sold myself this dream instead of having someone else advertise it to me. This is by far the lowest point of my life so far and I can't tell wether that's a good or a bad thing. Debt is now about 1.5k + 6k student loans. Just the thought that I could be debt free today kills me. The thoughts of the vacations, the furniture and all the little gifts and trinkets the money could've been for me and the most loving girlfriend I have. It's gut wrenching. But more than anything else: The sleep, the health, the peace of mind that I have lost - the time - all the things I could have spent my time on. Educating myself, sports. Life was fuckin great until October, I ran my first half marathon; today I feel like a shell of my actual self. I am sorry for this massive wall of text, but I really needed to let go of this. Today is day 1 and we will count to infinity. Have a great day and keep those spirits high. <3
